MARS MRO Services DWC-LLC (“MARS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is the data controller for personal data collected through the website at https://mars.aero (the “Website”). We are registered with the Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) free zone under licence no. 13057, with TRN 104731239000003.

We have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer because the scale and nature of our processing do not meet the PDPL appointment threshold. The contact above handles all privacy enquiries.
2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data we collect when you visit the Website or contact us via the email addresses listed on the Website. The Website is a corporate marketing site. It does not have user accounts, login forms, payment processing, or newsletter sign-ups. We do not run analytics or advertising tracking on the Website.
3. What data we collect
3.1 Information you choose to share by contacting us
When you email us at info@mars.aero (or another address shown on the Website), we receive whatever you put in the message — typically your name, email address, role, organisation, and the contents of your enquiry. Providing this information is voluntary; sharing more than necessary is your choice.
3.2 Technical information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our hosting provider’s web server records standard access-log information:

Providing this information is automatic and necessary for the Website to function — no website can serve a page without an IP address to send it to. If you do not want to share this data, you should not visit the Website.
3.3 Cookies set by embedded content
The contact page (/contact/) embeds a Google Maps iframe. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and basic browser information directly. MARS does not control these cookies. The Website itself does not set any first-party cookies.
You can prevent the Google Maps iframe from loading by blocking third-party cookies / scripts in your browser, or by not visiting the contact page.
3.4 What we do not collect
- We do not have a contact form. No data is submitted to MARS from the Website itself.
- We do not run analytics or advertising tracking (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no tag managers).
- We do not collect special-category personal data (health, racial / ethnic origin, religious belief, biometric data, etc.).
- We do not perform any automated decision-making, including profiling.
4. How we use your data and our lawful basis

We do not use your personal data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than those listed above. We do not sell personal data.
5. Recipients of your data
We share personal data only with the following categories of recipient:
- Our hosting provider, which operates the web server for mars.aero and stores access logs on our behalf.
- Our email provider, which delivers and stores email correspondence sent to or from info@mars.aero.
- Google (Maps), which receives data directly from your browser when the contact-page map loads. Google acts as an independent controller for that data.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting, IT security) on a need-to-know basis if your enquiry requires it.
- Public authorities where disclosure is required by UAE law, court order, or regulatory direction.
We do not transfer personal data to any other third parties.
6. International transfers
Our hosting provider operates web infrastructure outside the United Arab Emirates. This means your IP address and the technical log data described in §3.2 are transferred to and stored in jurisdictions outside the UAE.
We rely on the following safeguards under the PDPL for these transfers:
- The hosting provider operates under data-protection commitments equivalent to those required by the PDPL.
- Standard contractual protections are in place between MARS and the provider.
- Where the receiving jurisdiction has been recognised by the UAE Data Office as offering an adequate level of protection, transfers are made on that basis.

7. How long we keep your data

We periodically review retained data and delete what is no longer needed.
8. Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your personal data, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations.
- Restrict our processing in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on your consent (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).
- Receive a copy of data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects on you. (As stated in §3.4, we do not perform automated decision-making.)
To exercise any of these rights, email info@mars.aero. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.
9. Right to complain
If you believe we are not handling your personal data in accordance with the PDPL, you may lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns first — please contact info@mars.aero before escalating.
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the limited nature of the data we hold, including:
- HTTPS / TLS encryption of traffic between your browser and the Website.
- Access controls on internal systems that store email correspondence.
- Periodic review of hosting-provider security posture.
- Disciplined access to investor and advisory information on a need-to-know basis under signed NDAs.
No system is completely secure. If you discover a security issue affecting the Website, please report it to info@mars.aero.
11. Children
The Website is directed to professional aviation and business audiences. The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child, we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” and “Version” at the top will be updated when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on the Website for a reasonable period.
