Why Dubai World Central
The strategic case for aviation infrastructure at DWC
Regional fleet expanding at twice the global rate
Middle East fleet projected to grow from ~1,480 to ~3,700 aircraft by 2044; ME fleet CAGR 5.1% vs 2.8% global.
Structural MRO capacity gap
GCC MRO market growing from $3.72B (2025) to $7.31B (2030) at 14.46% CAGR; only 22% of GCC aircraft maintenance engineers are local nationals.
Dubai's aviation hub for the next four decades
DWC Phase 2 (April 2024): AED 128B / US$35B investment, 5 runways, 400+ gates, 260M passengers, 12M tonnes cargo at full build-out.
Leadership
Aijaz Mohammad
Founder & Principal Investor
Aijaz Mohammad is a UAE-based logistics entrepreneur and the founder and principal investor of MARS. As Managing Director of AAA Freight Services — which he founded in 2010 and has built into a multi-emirate logistics group operating six specialized warehousing facilities across the UAE, with international freight offices in the United Kingdom, Turkey, and India — he has spent over fifteen years developing and operating infrastructure for complex regulated verticals, with chemical logistics as the group's core capability.
AAA's existing aviation logistics activity at Dubai World Central — covering time-critical cargo, air charter, and storage of aviation consumables, engines, and aircraft interiors — gave Aijaz direct visibility into a structural demand-supply imbalance in the regional aviation supply chain. MARS was established to address that gap, pairing AAA's proven track record of building specialized infrastructure from the ground up with operational and technical aviation expertise drawn from a senior advisory bench.
Born in the UAE and a Golden Visa holder, he leads MARS with an active-oversight model that empowers an embedded operational team while maintaining direct accountability for strategic execution.
MARS is supported by an Advisory Board with senior experience across MRO operations, airline operations, infrastructure development, and aviation capital.
